The CenturionPro team is reporting live from the MJBiz Conference in Las Vegas this week!
Day 1 – Nov 15 at 12:30PM
The CenturionPro booth is officially set up and ready to go!
We are Booth #2617 if you want to come by and check us out. It is your chance to learn more about our machines, plus you can enter to win a brand new TableTop Pro (pictured below)!
Day 2 – Nov 16 at 12:00PM
Had a chance to walk around the MJBiz Conference expo floor today and check out some new technologies in the industry, such as cannabis extraction machines.
The extraction machines featured here use CO2 to “extract” a combination of cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant. The resulting compound is found in almost every pre-loaded vaporizer pen on the market as well as edibles. The goal is to produce a final product containing 90% THC for powerful concentrated exposure and a strong high.
CO2-based concentrates are so popular as they are considered to be the safest of all the extraction methods with no toxins or contaminants when done properly such as with some of these amazing machines:
The Vitalis Q-Series, which is the industry leading high flow CO2 system.
The ExtraktLAB Extrakt-1 supercritical CO2 extraction machine.
The BOSS CO2 Extraction System by Soma Labs.
And last but not least, The APEKS CO2 extraction system.
Day 2 – Nov 16 at 2:02PM
Some more great cannabis technology we discovered today are a new generation of testers!
In short, cannabis testing is a scientific process used to measure the different compounds found in samples provided. These testers can provide information about cannabinoids concentrations such a THC, CBD, CBN, etc as well as determine which unique terpenes are found in that batch or strain.
The tCheck2, for example, is the worlds first home-infusion potency tester. This tester requires 60 seconds to test infusions and 5 minutes for flowers and concentrates.
We also checked out Sage Analytics who produce the BEACON – a desktop, laboratory grade potency tester and The Profiler II, a special edition tester.
Plus, we met BDS Analytics, the leader in cannabis intelligence and market share testing.
Day 2 – Nov 16 at 3:24PM
With the growth of the cannabis industry, good branding and packaging has never been more vital to success. The marketplace is bustling with new products, technologies, strains, services and so much more. In order to make your product stand out, you need to have a clear brand image, a strong message, key information easily available to consumers and it needs to be concise and cohesive across all platforms of your product.
We found some great examples of this at MJBiz Con this afternoon, starting with Futurola who were near our booth and very noticeable.
They have developed a world-class product line of rolling and smoking accessories – and a brand image to go with it!
GFarmaLabs, the “Leaders of the Global Cannabis Revolution”, also stood out among the booths.
They are working to set the standard in the cannabis industry with branding that reflects their values and passion for the industry.
